I’d meant to include these photos in my last post, but the internet connection gets quite faint in parts of Iceland and I can’t always manage the upload of photos to the blog. Not that I’m complaining, for it's strange indeed to even be connecting to the internet from such remote places.
Wandering among the lava formations of Dimmuborgir on Lake Mývatn...
... one can
easily see the faces of fierce trolls frozen in the rock
... or even be
swallowed up by a rift in the surface of the earth
... and come across tiny wildflowers and even fat yellow bumble bees in the stark lava terrain.
